St. Louis Small Business Monthly has named our own CEO, Matthew Porter, one of 100 St. Louisans to know.

Matthew runs Contegix, but he is more than the head of our award winning managed hosting, cloud computing and information technology infrastructure company. Behind the technical expertise, he is an entrepreneur and a start-up advocate at heart.

While exponentially growing Contegix with co-founder and CTO Craig McElroy, Matthew is committed to helping other businesses take off.  He became involved with the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) Accelerator program starting in 2007 and was asked to the chair the program after a year. He remains actively involved in EO both on a local and national level.

Matthew has shown a strong commitment to St. Louis, and others have taken note, from the Missouri Department of Economic Development to his alma mater, Saint Louis University.
